Key Features
Each type of single row cylindrical roller bearing is designed to address specific operational needs, from accommodating thermal expansion to providing axial positioning. Understanding the differences between these types helps you select the right bearing for your equipment.
N Type
The N type features an inner ring with two ribs and an outer ring without ribs. A key advantage of this design is that the inner ring, rollers, and cage can be separated from the outer ring, simplifying installation and maintenance.
N type bearings allow the shaft to move axially relative to the housing within a certain range, making them ideal for compensating for relative position changes caused by thermal expansion or installation errors. They are commonly used as free-end bearings, but it's important to note that they cannot restrict axial displacement of the shaft or housing and can only bear radial loads.
NU Type
Similar to the N type in function, the NU type has an outer ring with two ribs and an inner ring without ribs. The outer ring, rollers, and cage can be separated from the inner ring, offering the same ease of installation.
Like N type bearings, NU type bearings permit axial movement of the shaft relative to the housing, adapting to thermal expansion and installation errors. They are also suitable for free-end applications, with no ability to limit axial displacement and only radial load-bearing capacity.
NJ Type
The NJ type is designed with an outer ring featuring two ribs and an inner ring with one rib. This structure allows for axial positioning in one direction, enabling the bearing to bear a certain degree of unidirectional axial load.
It's a versatile option for applications where single-direction axial positioning is required, while still delivering reliable radial load support.

NF Type
Complementary to the NJ type, the NF type has an inner ring with two ribs and an outer ring with one rib. This design also enables axial positioning in one direction and can bear a certain level of unidirectional axial load.
It's suitable for scenarios where the mounting configuration requires the inner ring to provide the primary axial positioning.
NUP Type
The NUP type stands out with an outer ring with two ribs, an inner ring with one rib, and a flat retaining ring. This combination allows it to limit axial displacement of both the shaft and housing within the range of the bearing's axial clearance.
In addition to bearing radial loads, it can also withstand a small amount of bidirectional axial loads, making it an excellent choice for fixed-end bearing applications.
NH Type
The NH type features an outer ring with two ribs, an inner ring with one rib, and an inclined retaining ring. A key benefit is that the inner ring and outer ring (with the full set of rollers and cage) can be installed separately, simplifying assembly in complex machinery.
Like the NUP type, it limits axial displacement of the shaft and housing within the axial clearance and can bear radial loads as well as a small amount of bidirectional axial loads, making it suitable for fixed-end use.
NB Type
The NB type is a ribless cylindrical roller bearing, with neither the inner nor outer ring featuring ribs. It is equipped with lubrication holes in the outer ring, and the inner ring, outer ring, and cage (with full rollers) can be installed separately.
Due to its ribless design, it cannot restrict axial displacement of the bearing or housing and is unable to bear axial loads, making it suitable for applications where only radial load support is needed and axial movement is not a concern.

Core Advantages
Our single row cylindrical roller bearings are manufactured to strict quality standards, ensuring consistent performance and long service life.
Key advantages include high radial load capacity, thanks to the line contact between rollers and raceways; diverse structural options to meet free-end, fixed-end, and axial positioning needs; and separable designs (for most types) that simplify installation and maintenance.
Additionally, specialized types like the NCL…V and NCF…V offer enhanced radial load capacity for heavy-duty applications, while types like NUP and NH provide reliable fixed-end positioning.
