● Engineered to handle combined radial and axial loads, as well as pure axial thrust, making it ideal for high-speed rotating applications.
● Designed for unidirectional axial load support; radial loads will generate a secondary axial force during operation.
● Limits axial movement of the shaft and housing in a single direction when used as a standalone bearing.
● Can be paired with a second bearing to counteract axial loads from the opposite direction.
● Compatible with back-to-back (DB) and face-to-face (DF) mounting configurations to eliminate residual axial forces.
● Delivers bidirectional axial positioning for shafts or housings when installed in matched pairs.
2. Rigidity & Structural Design
● Features a higher ball complement than same-size deep groove ball bearings, delivering superior load ratings, enhanced system rigidity, and smooth, stable operation.
● Radial internal clearance can be fine-tuned via relative displacement of the inner and outer rings; multiple bearings can be pre-loaded in parallel to further boost overall system stiffness.
3. Contact Angle & Clearance Configuration
● Built with a non-zero contact angle, available in standard industry sizes: 15°, 25°, 30°, and 40°.
● Larger contact angles provide increased axial load capacity, while smaller contact angles optimize performance for high-speed rotational applications.
● Individual bearings are manufactured with standard initial internal clearance; matched bearing sets are configured to achieve the required internal clearance for specific applications.
● Matched bearing assemblies are offered in two configurations to suit operational needs: preload (zero or negative internal clearance) and pre-set internal clearance.
● Preload matched sets are factory-calibrated with zero/negative clearance, ideal for machine tool spindles and other high-rigidity, high-precision applications.
